where did i go wrong (other thread isnt working)

Re-evaluate position, especially when the change is dramatic.

5. Bxb5 { White has a minor piece for a pawn! The position has changed dramatically, so Reassess the position. White has an advantage of Force - a Knight for the b2 pawn. New Strategy - Trade All Pieces Off the Board. White will have a Knight & 7 pawns vs Black's 8 pawns - a win with correct play. }

13. Bxh7 Rxh7 14. Ng5 Qh6 15. Nxh7 Qxh7 { The exchange of Knight & Bishop for Rook & pawn is incorrect - The two minor pieces are stronger than Rook & pawn more often than not, but not always, of course. After the exchange, White is no longer up an entire piece! Black is now only down an exchange - Rook for Knight - and the pawns are equal for both sides! White did realize the idea of exchanging pieces off the board when up material but unfortunately miscalculated the material balance After the exchange of pieces. }

19. c4 Bb7 { The position has again, drastically changed! Black could in future put a Knight on e5, Bishop on a6, Rook on c8 and attack the isolated c4 pawn! Notice the comp analysis prefers ...19. Qg6, Black might manoeuvre their Knight to f5, with ideas of Nh4 - Nf3! White is still winning, but Black can cause problems, and would also like to place their pawns on dark squares. }

30. hxg4 {Yikes! This move opens Two files for Black! Again, ask yourself, does my move greatly Change the position? If so, does the change favour me or my opponent! The Black Rook & Queen become very Active now that both files are open, towards the White King.}

Analysis of the entire game would take me way too long, but I hope you gain some insight from mistakes made at critical positions.

The main Theme being, when The Position Changes - Reassess the Position. Ask who does it favour? And ask this before you make your move, not after!

I think you will improve to 1800 at the least in a short time.
