Suggestion: Limit game abortion

I see a lot of players aborting a game AFTER the color has been picked.
They just see that they are black and leave, for free.
This is frustrating and unfair, some points should be lost for such behavior or excessive leaving should be tracked.

Also creating a game as a white player is not really fair either and shouldn't be an option.
I block such users directly. There are enough players online who wants to play, so i dont need these "color-abuser".
Funny you say that because a feature was introduced to mitigate that just yesterday. :P Aborting too much (the algorithm is too complicated to describe in a few words) now stops you from playing for 5 minutes.
Maybe a slightly more complicated explanation is necessary because this explanation mis-represents the effectiveness of the system in place.

First offence of repeatedly aborting/abandoning games: 5mins.
Second offence: 10mins
Third: 20mins
Fourth: 40mins
Fifth: 80mins

It's only in rated game or not ? It work when we play against anonymous ? The sanction work when we are anonymous ? How many abort we can do before a sanction ?

Sorry for the lot of questions, but i know nothing on the new feature.

Thanks in advance for your answers.

Regards
"I think people wanting to play white only should use the option to challenge others with white"

But this is wrong, especially in rated games. You shouldn't be able to give yourself an advantage, it shouldn't even be an option.

"just don't accept such challenges"

Nobody should accept such challenge actually. If the option was absent, those players would create a regular game with random colors. This way, there would be more fair challenges on the board.

And when the colors are picked, there should be no way to exit the game without resignation.

In casual games it's ok do what you want.
I just don't see the point in letting people abort the game after color pick and even more wrongly, after the first move...

In my head, I have the example of Starcraft II ladder (I've been playing that game for a while). In rated games, once the opponent is found, no way back: you play until somebody lose or resigns.

If there is something wrong and you can't play the game for any reason, it's your problem. It's player's responsibility to start a rated game when they are in according conditions.

This, in my mind, is the most fair (and easy, meaning forget the complicated algorithm) solution and is the way it should be on any rated game.
Just a little feedback about this feature, in frech, when we are temporarily banned, the time posted is 2minutes and we are banned minute.
