Permitted analysis modes in correspondence games

I'm in the middle of playing a correspondence game with a friend. Up until now I have been using the attached analysis board to work through positions, but this has a few drawbacks, namely that the analysis is not saved when the next move is made or if leaving and returning to the board.

I would like to be able to discuss my analysis from during the game with my friend after the game is finished but I'm worried that I won't remember all the lines that I looked at.

I was thinking of using the lichess Study feature to do my analysis as I go so that it is available after the game, but I was wondering whether this would cause lichess to flag the behavior as a potential cheating violation. Obviously I would disable the local evaluation engine in the Study when I create it, but I'm not certain whether this would make a difference to the automatic cheat detection when it sees I have another board open with the same position as an ongoing game.

Could anyone give me a conclusive statement as to whether creating a Study during an ongoing correspondence game is permitted or not?

Thanks.
I would also love if it was possible to save lines played in the analysis board! Would be even nicer if it was possible to attach notes to them (can always use the notes tab, but it's a bit clunky)
