BOT AtomicChessBot

How come AtomicChessBot lost a game by flag in a game with increment? I think something is wrong about it.
AtomicChessBot apart from openings, where it plays immediate moves from the lichess >2200 book, relies on Stockfish's time management. Stockfish was developed for playing in local environments ( ie. where system lag is not an issue ), so it uses its time fully, even going down to fractions of a second before submitting its move. You can set a configuration variable to compensate for this somewhat, but in the case of games with small increment, the possibility that it will time out due to temporary network outage, is always there.

AtomicChessBot is fallible just as any other player.

The important point is that you cannot count on this and exploit it for boosting your rating, because you have no disposal over network outages AtomicChessBot may experience.
