Hi everyone,
in my game customization settings ("Create new game" -> "Custom") I set the rating range of my desired opponent to be -0 to +500 points in comparison to my rating.
Still, I often get matched with opponents who have a lower rating than me - even though that should not be possible.
Is this intended from Lichess or is it a bug?
I would have absolutely no problem to wait a little longer until I get paired with a player meeting my desired criteria.
But it seems, the Lichess server always wants to immediately match me with the next best player available - completely disregarding the pairing settings I chose.
Does anyone have an explanation for this?
