Etiquette around offering rematch

I said these written by the men for the men. Your arguments are invalid. Sorry
Imagine you are a gladiator or a boxer. You beat your oponent nearly to death.So do you ask him ?: "Hey, I want to beat you again" ?
@zeeChess
You're taking things too seriously.
Losing at chess will only kill your king, not yourself. It's a game.
I can take a beating at chess and ask for more if I play a strong player and I found the game interesting and they are willing to play again as well, perhaps because they found my game intriguing, or not so bad and they want to be encouraging, or they just have fun playing a weaker opponent for some reason. Then again if once was enough, I will decline the rematch. That's the manly thing to do, not whining about being humiliated by a rematch offer.

When people get to play Carlsen in a simul, they know they will take a beating. But they are happy to do so. Obviously no-one would line up to take a beating by a gladiator or boxer that might actually beat them nearly to death...

In any case, no one has to accept a rematch. It is an offer. If I have beaten you TEN times in a row, you should be grateful I still want to give you a chance to win some points back :D
