Wordcup heads up in lichess

I also would like to see some longer time control tournaments. Let's say 20+10 or 15+15 at least. I think, there are enough 1+0 to 5+0 events. If it is Wordcup system or Swiss system the tournament would take let's maximum 7 rounds. So it is possible to finish it in several days (1-2 games per day) or so.

there could be some long, not sure how lichess moderator will make it? all the people must have time every day! little bit incrediable for me! but ok ....there would be different formats, 1 min, 5 min, 10 min,, plus increment, 20 minutes also ....could be long 3 hours or seperate in 2 days it is nice idea also i think seperate in saturday and sunday will be cool one yes!

I don't agree with "solider". There are a lot of blitz and bullet tourneys. The main idea is to develop "rapid" tournament.; because, the prize could be the LM title.

no problem man, maybe there is reason rapid is not play online, people can cheat without anybod catch them,, because they can make also blunders, also even given the advantage on the opoonents, i am ok to have rapid heads up match, not sure there willl be many people except you and me, because maybe they will not have time,

1 hour one rround......but 15 min games, every day 1 round, not sure agani how many will hae free time every week in the same time....

maybe good control is something like 5+3, and 5+3, if equal
the armagedon ....5 min white, 4 min black. like the times in the world cup, i dont wanna have more..like 10+10, or 25+15 because nobody will wait so long, it should be 5+3 - 2 games in my opinion...and it is not bullet, it is not rapid..betwenn

Well, I would play something more serious than 5+3. If I want to spend some time during the work, I play 1+2, but "tournament" should create a different atmosphere (in my opinion). Concerned cheaters, let's say, make a limit for games played on Lichess before entering the tournament. I.e. noone can enter until he played at least 50 rated games or so.
